Can a person drink or smoke and still be a Christian? The short answer: We’re justified only through faith in Christ, not through any of our works. Yet the gospel changes us, and we should consider if our habits inhibit the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Ask yourself, “Is this hindering me from running hard after Jesus?”
